3rd Annual International Night

The courtyard at the American International School of Abu Dhabi was transformed last week into a cultural crossroads in their ongoing effort to aid those in the devastated Haiti.
The 3rd Annual International Night raised AED 18,810 reaching their goal of raising AED 34,000 for the charity. The event gave students and staff members an opportunity to showcase the many diverse cultures represented at the school.
The full house enjoyed song and dance performances while parents and staff members manned a variety of booths outside displaying the food, clothing and customs of nations around the world.
The highlight of the evening was the International fashion show – complete with catwalk – and the raffle of four BalckBerry’s, humidifier filters, house mats, an iPod and iPhone. Funds raised will go to the Doctors without Borders in Haiti.
