Dir Miguel Sapochnik, starring Jude Law, Forest Whitaker, Alice Braga, Liev Schreiber.
In this futuristic thriller, life has been extended and improved through sophisticated and expensive mechanical organs. The bad news: if you don’t pay your bill, the supplier send round its repo men to recover its property – with no especial concern for the survival of the client. Jude Law is Remy, top repo man who himself gets fitted with a replacement heart; he can’t handle the debt, so his former partner Jake ( Forest Whitaker ) is sent to find him. On the run Remy joins up with Beth ( Alice Braga ) to try to beat the system.
There’s lots of blood, some lust (including quite the oddest X-rated love scene) and a timely cultish feel – especially for Americans with their fears about health care reform. The first half is exciting and the main characters work well together, bu then Remy starts getting too metaphysical for our own good and the film ends a tad disappointingly. Stil, it’s an interesting essay in sci-fi with a difference.
So, if you guys haven’t seen the movie yet better take sometime now to run over on your nearest wide cinemas to watch the amazingly made movie. This will surely give you goose bumps! Okay! That’s it for now ’cause I still have to check this http://www.topacnetreatment.org that I’ve found earlier before I made this moview review as I was looking an acne aid for my teen age cousin. Probably this site can help me a lot. Enjoy the movie guys!
