Jan 15. Keep your hat on! At least for the evening - as 15th January is National Hat Day. Join the fun and put on your best bonnet at Zenith from 9 pm in Sheraton Abu Dhabi, with prizes for the best. Ladies go free, for gentlemen it’s AED 100.

ABU DHABI CLASSIC 2010

Jan 12-23. The inaugural Abu Dhabi Classic is the second major motorsport event to grace in Yas Marina Circuit, and it’s looking like a good one. Some of the most prestigious cars in the history of motorsport will race five different categories, including a spectacular grid of 1960’s cars. Race you there!

MARAKESH LOUNGE PARTY

Jan 23. There’s a new party spot in town. Marakesh restaurant in the Millennium Hotel will be transformed into a Morocan lounge every Wednesday night. From 8pm till 4 am; setting the tone will be DJ Jerome, DJane Katherine and DJ WillB. Entrance is free!

GOURMET ABU DHABI

Jan 5-19. The capital’s culinary celebration is back - and its bigger than ever. Gourmet dinners, master classes and more Michelin stars than you can shake a spatula at; keep on your eyes peeled for a whole host of activities (and of course, fine food).
