Bunch of Five!
Five oddities about Abu Dhabi planning.
The world is full of oddities, frequently bureaucratic quirks or administrative decisions that probably make sense to something somewhere but which aren’t immediately obvious to the passer-by. Abu Dhabi is no stranger to such peculiarities. Here’s a personal selection: feel free to argue or add.
1. Access to Al Raha Beach. One day, apparentl, it will be different; but right now the only way to get ti the Al Raha Beach Hotel and malls is via long slip road past the theater and the sailing school. Which is more or less okay if you’re coming from the city, but very frustrating if you’re trying to get there from Khalifa A or the Dubai side.
2. Access to Yas Island. It’s a doodle via Saadiyat, but if you’re trying to get to the hotels or the circuit from any other direction it;s a roundabout schlep because there is no bridge at the Raha end of the island.
3. The Public Beach on the Corniche. Its’ a public beach. Oh! no it’s not. Oh! yes it is. Have they made their minds up yet?
4. Speed Cameras. Everyone knows theu aren’t set to flash at whatever the signposted speed limit happens to be. So why not raise the speed limit or drop the flash limit?
5. Tourist Club Walkways. Despite the best efforts of the authorities, those metal bridges (most of which have warped in the heat and creak alarmingly) are largely avoided by pedestrians - especially those with trolley, pushchairs and gammy knees.
May this guide to roaing around Abu Dhabi City will definitely give you a great New Years day! A lot of us dream of having that perfect body like the bodies that we usually see on television, magazine, and more. These are the ideal physique portrayed by the media and envied by many. Aside from going to the gym, steam bath can be a great way to achieve the body that you have always wanted. If your main goal for going to the gym is to take the excess fat by sweating, why not bathe in a steam instead? You will perspire ten times faster without even lifting a single arm or doing any vigorous activity that will sooner or later cause pain in your body muscles.
We all know that headache is one of the most common problems for us. In fact, studies have estimated that about 90 percent of men and 95 percent of women have at least one unprovoked headache each year. Migraine headaches are distinguished from the more common tension-type headache by their throbbing component often associated with nausea and visual disturbances. Despite their prevalence, the cause of migraines is not well understood.
Many nutritionists and health experts pointed out that most of us are far too famished when we sit down at the table to restrain ourselves from eating hurriedly. Regardless of that, this is just the time to stop and chew our food more times. Basically, chewing is not just the process that stands between our hunger and the feeling of satiety, since not chewing food properly can have some very negative effects on our health. Not only that, but it also prevents us from enjoying our meal while leading to overeating. By wanting to finish quickly we do not allow our body to react to the food ingested.
Basically, healthy eating means choosing a variety of foods from the basic food groups: meat and meat substitutes; dairy; fruits and vegetables; grains, such as breads and pasta; and a limited amount of fats and sweets. As simple as these sounds, it’s not always easy to get the nutrition you need. You may eat more of your favorite foods from only one food group, and as a result, get less of other food groups. Or perhaps you opt for convenience over quality when you are hungry.
Basically, Feng shui is the process of improving your life and your attitude by improving your environment. The principles of feng shui teach you to rethink your relationship to the objects in your space in order to help you create an area that is harmoniously arranged, visually balanced, and allows positive energy to flow freely and unhampered. Applying the fundamentals of feng shui can change the way you do business, or the way that you interact with friends and family.
